The first self-titled release of Wild Sound Reserve takes early pioneering synth works of the 1970s and Horror/Sci-Fi soundtracks as a starting point to set off on its own course of exploration. Sound design and noise are given equal importance to riffs and grooves. The results are organic soundscapes, ebbing and flowing with a life of their own.

The 8 tracks are mostly live improvised with only some sequences and a loose tonality predetermined. This method of working captures the magic of live performance and summons those little happy accidents that can only happen spontaneously. Listen closely and you can hear that all the elements of the music are in constant dialogue, sometimes taking centre stage, sometimes dropping into the background or providing counterpoint.
